About us
Robert Gartshore established Carmyle Driving School over 25 years ago. In 1982 it operated three cars in the East End of Glasgow. Hard work and a comitment to meeting the needs of pupils proved to be an ideal recipe for the company to grow. It's popularity continued and in 1998 it became a limited company operating a large fleet of cars covering west central Scotland.Driving Instructor Training was introduced in 1986 and Carmyle and it's staff are proud to have trained a great many people who are today either still with us as Approved Driving Instructors or enjoying a self employed career with their own school.
In recent years we have pulled together a team of highly qualified and experienced Large Goods Vehicle and Bike Instructors to provide probably the most comprehensive driver training available in the UK.
